During the Tony Awards on Sunday night, actor Robert De Niro was due to introduce singer and songwriter Bruce Springsteen to perform. What stopped him in his tracks led to him vulgarly denouncing President Trump. He walked up to the microphone, and before the audience filled with Trump rejectors even ended, he said:
“I’m gonna say one thing: F*ck Trump.”
His words earned a standing ovation while raising his fists in a way of revolution. He continued, “It’s no longer down with Trump. It’s f*ck Trump.” This isn’t the first time De Niro sought Trump out in a violent manner. In a campaign advertisement, he stated that he wanted to punch then- Candidate Trump in the face, labeling him as “an idiot, a national disaster, an embarrassment to this country … this fool, this bozo.”
It’s incredible to me that President Trump is negotiating with one of the world’s, if not, the world’s most ruthless dictator to end the Korean War and discuss potential denuclearization, and the ultimate hypocrisy from Hollywood’s liberal agenda covers up the misdeeds of rapists and sexual harassers.
For this matter, American voters will see this and be infuriated. In fact, it will most likely help Republicans towards midterm elections in November.
