The Mainstream Media Have Ultimately Become The Hypocritical News Giants And Have Not Stopped Targeting Conservatives.

On Tuesday, Roseanne Barr, the main character of hit comedy show Roseanne, tweeted at former Obama aide Valerie Jarret, referring to her ‘muslim brotherhood’ as ‘apes’ and called leftist Hungarian billionaire George Soros a ‘nazi’. Shortly afterwards, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said in a statement, “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”

Roseanne knew what wrong she had done and acknowledged it right after, but defended herself, claiming she is not a racist. President Trump drew the matter to attention and tweeting, “Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that ‘ABC does not tolerate comments like those’ made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?”

In no defense of hers, the tweets were blatantly in bad taste and should have never been posted. She believed 9/11 conspiracy theories and even ran as a far-left candidate for President, contradicting many beliefs that she is conservative. Yet, it still proves the massive, incessant double standards that the mainstream media continues to produce against conservatives day in and day out.

Joy Behar was not fired from ABC’s ‘The View’ when she called Vice President Mike Pence’s faith ‘mentally ill’. She made the remark on February 13th, but apologized almost a month later on March 13th.

Jemele Hill, a co-anchor at ESPN, which is a parent company of ABC and owned by Disney, called President Donald Trump a “a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.” She was only suspended for two weeks and continues to work at ESPN.

ESPN hired Keith Olbermann, a man who uses vulgarity constantly to call President Trump a “racist, white supremacist, neo-nazi“, a “f****** Nazi f*****”, and released a book titled “Trump Is Fuc*ing Crazy (This Is Not A Joke)“, in which he wraps himself around a U.S flag and allows it to touch the ground. This is a violation of the U.S Flag Code. Nothing was done against him.

Wanda Sykes, a fellow cast member of Roseanne, called Trump a “muthafuc*er” and an “orangutan“. Bill Maher also compared Trump to an ape.

Samantha Bee, the host of “Full Frontal” on TBS, called First Daughter Ivanka Trump a ‘feckless c***‘, an extremely inflammatory and offensive term. CNN, which is owned by the same parent company as TBS, have not commented ever since it aired. Also, TBS couldn’t be more proud of Bee that she’s “advancing social change“. Give me a break.

The point is, conservatives are targeted far more than liberals whether being in the entertainment industry or in the public service. Take this for example. Choose a conservative woman public figure: Liz Wheeler, Laura Ingraham, Dana Loesch, Candace Owens, you name it.

Now imagine either one of them using that particular language describing Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi, Tammy Duckworth, or Kamala Harris. Social media would explode, and these figures would instantaneously be condemned. Would the reaction be similar to ABC’s immediate response to Roseanne’s comments? It wouldn’t, but it should and must be.

However, Brooke Baldwin of CNN, said “The same rules apply no matter which political side you call home. Conservatives have been pointing to a double standard on how liberal stars who say these offensive things are treated, versus their conservative counterparts, and in many cases, rightfully so.”
