On Saturday afternoon, the New York Post reported an exclusive on liberal comedian and Trump critic Rosie O’ Donnell. The report concluded that O’Donnell used five fake identities and addresses to contribute to five different Democratic legislative candidates during 2017 and 2018.
The Federal Election Commission rules that any donation over $2,700 is illegal and unacceptable. Rosie, however, did exactly that. Donations to Senator Doug Jones (D-AL), who defeated accused child molester Roy Moore in Alabama’s special election, Conor Lamb (D-PA), Adam Schiff (D-CA), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), and Omar Vaid (D-NY).
Rosie did not know about her contributions towards Vaid’s campaign, but is accountable, regardless.
Now, the same exact thing happened to conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, when he reimbursed $20,000 to New Yorker Wendy Long (R-NY). His punishments were 5 years probation, 8 months in a halfway house, and a $30,000 fine.
Shouldn’t she be serving 40 months if she illegally did this five times? Especially using false names and addresses?
What about the Clinton campaign, who illegally laundered $84M into her 2016 campaign? The mainstream media became dead silent when that was the case. There were the times when CNN and MSNBC were non partisan and had no declared bias. They reported the real news and any news that happened.
Now, it has become the polarization of news networks. At least CNN finished in 6th in cable news ratings.
